Dave is from Boston, Massachusetts where he played high school lacrosse in the highly competitive ISL for Rivers School. He was a captain and first team all-league.  Coach Ames played D2 collegiately for Bentley University where he was the runner-up for rookie of the year in the Northeast-10.
