Jason Griffith
Currently the Head Coach for Shaker Heights Boys Lacrosse; Jason just finished his 3rd year at the helm of the Red Raider program. Coach Griffith was named GCC Coach of the Year after leading the Shaker boys to the 2016 GCC title. Prior to Shaker, Jason was the OC at St. Edward High School for the 2013 and 2014 seasons. Jason’s coaching resume also includes stints at the University of Delaware in 2012, Hood College for 2010 and 2011 seasons, Western Reserve Academy in 2009 and Lindenwood/Rockwood Summit in 2008.
Coach Griffith is a Cleveland native that played his high school lacrosse for Western Reserve Academy before attending to the University of Delaware (2004 and 2005). A transfer to Ohio State in the fall of 2005 is what led Jason to coaching, as he was the player-coach for the Buckeye club team. Jason is still actively playing lacrosse with the Cleveland Demons Box lacrosse team.
Coach Griffith lives in Cleveland Heights with his wife (Ali) and son (Jacob). On top of coaching lacrosse, Jason works in commercial real estate with Cushman & Wakefield and invests in real estate through Lenus Properties LLC, a company he founded with his father.
