Sam Arey
Sam Arey started playing lacrosse in 3rd grade in New Albany. She helped her high school team to two State Championships in 2008 and 2009 and made it to the Final Four in 2010 and 2011. Coach Arey graduated from New Albany High School in 2011.
After graduation, Coach Arey took her skills to Limestone University where she played goalie, defense, and midfield. During her time at Limestone, she helped the team to wins over nationally ranked teams, impressive regular season records, and multiple NCAA appearances. In 2015, she was named All-Conference Carolinas Tournament Team. She graduated in 2016 with a degree in Sports Management.
Coach Arey found her way back to her high school alma mater and served as the goalie coach in 2017. She moved to the Head JV Coach position at New Albany in 2018. In 2019, she became the Head Coach at Columbus School for Girls.
Sam is a goalie coach for Upper Arlington, and will be working with the Resolute high school goalies!
