Ryan Sinnema
Playing Experience:
Ryan was a four year varsity starter at Bay High School from 2011-2014, and was all conference and all region. He also played for coach Bill Schmoldt for two years with the Cleveland Suburban Elite team Sophomore and Junior year, and played football at Bay as well. He then went on to play at Heidelberg University, and was a 4 year starting defenseman for Coach Schmoldt from 2017-2020. His freshman year he was in the top 30 in the country in caused turnovers, was a captain his senior year, and graduated from Heidelberg as the all time leader in caused turnovers and 4th in ground balls. Ryan recently completed his master’s at Cleveland State and will be getting married this summer.
Coaching Experience:
Ryan is going into his third year with Resolute Cleveland, and will be an assistant coach for the 2025 class. He has spent the past three years with Saint Ignatius High School’s lacrosse team. In 2021 he was the defensive coordinator for the JV team, and in 2022-23 he was an assistant coach with the varsity blue team. He has worked extensively with high school age athletes and is committed to teaching and growing the knowledge of lacrosse. He has been around the game for a long time, and it’s in his family, as his father has been a lacrosse official in Ohio as well.
