Resolute Alumni Highlights
- 2019 Resolute and University School alumni Jake Kapp was named First Team All-Atlantic 10, and was most recently picked up by the New York Atlas in the PLL! Jake played in the second most games ever (68) for Richmond. He had 102 GBs and 41 CTs (10th most in Richmond history), causing havoc all over the field as an LSM. Jake will be at the PLL Atlas training camp this Memorial Day weekend!
- Evan James, 2019 alum of Resolute and Dublin Coffman, finished his final season with the Loyola Greyhounds with 39 goals, 12 assists, and 24 GBs. He finished his career with 131 goals, 45 assists, and 80 GBs total!
- 2021 Alumni Joe Petro, a Toledo native and St. Francis de Sales grad, played in every game this year at close defense for Towson. Throughout their 17 game season, Joe tallied 38 GBs and 18 CTs for the stout Tiger's defense.
- Zach Hougan, a 2021 alumni of Resolute & Springboro, was named PAC conference Offensive Player of the Year. Zach had an impressive 59 points on the season, with 33 goals and 26 assists. His game-changing performances helped lead Grove City to another NCAA tournament appearance.
- 2022 alumni Bennet Trout led Baldwin Wallace in goals scored, and was 5th in the OAC conference with 37!
- Hilliard Davidson and Resolute 2022 alumni Kaden Ames more than tripled his offensive production for Elmhurst from the year prior. He finished this season with 23 goals and 11 assists!
- Zac Smargiasso of Malone had another monster scoring season. The Copley and Resolute alumni produced 37 goals and 35 assists this season, elevating him to 135 points in his career!
- Columbus DeSales product David Chintala set new career highs his sophomore season. After battling injury, David scored 57 goals and 15 assists this campaign. He was second in the NCAC in goals, and fourth in goals per game (3.00). He was named NCAC All-Conference.
- 2022s Bryce Madden (St. Edward's) and Zach White (Columbus Academy) had great seasons as emerging contributors for Utah. Bryce won 72 faceoffs this year, and also tallied 2 goals. Zach played in every game for the Utes and scored 4 goals and 7 assists, complimented by 10 ground balls. They collectively helped Utah win the A-Sun conference tournament to receive a bid to the NCAA tournament for the second year in a row.
- Reigning national champion Nick Harris will look to win back to back DI national championships with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Nick plays a pivotal role as a SSDM, adding speed and strength to the highly regarded ND defense. He has scored 2 goals and 1 assist in transition so far this year.
- Freshman Spencer Logsdon (Archbishop Hoban) had 31 goals and 24 assists in his first season with Mount Union.
- 2023 alumni Luke Reiter was named on America East All-Rookie team after having 17 goals and 27 assists throughout his debut year.
- Rookie Levi Kinnan (John Glenn HS) went 61% on faceoffs with 119 wins for the OAC conference champion John Carroll.
- Logan Spaeth (Beavercreek), a freshman at DII Wingate, went 57% on faceoffs with 51 wins and a goal.
- Olmsted Falls standout Gavin Moore, a feshman, played every game for Detroit Mercy this year, contributing heavily at the SSDM position.
- IMG Academy graduate Grant Ansted (Toledo raised) had 22 (15g, 7a) points for the Florida Southern Mocs in his freshman year. His brother, Evan Ansted, is a successful SSDM for the consistent DII championship contender, Tampa.
- A trio of SSDMs, Connor Cmiel (St. Ignatius), Greg Langermeier (St. Ignatius), and Blake Eiland (Western Reserve), rounded out the very tough Ohio State defense this year. They had a combined 53 GBs, and Blake in particular was an offensive threat with 12 goals and 2 assists.
