Jon Ewert
A native of Syracuse, NY, Jon Ewert has coached lacrosse in central Ohio since 1992.
A 4-year starter at Ohio State, Jon finished his career as the Buckeyes’ 2nd all-time scorer, team MVP, 1986 GWLL Player of the Year, and played in the collegiate North-South All-Star Game. Jon coached at Dublin Coffman High School from 1992-2004 and Worthington Kilbourne High School 2006-2009, culminating in a State Championship in 2009. Jon took some time off from coaching to watch his son Shawn play lacrosse in high school and now at Jacksonville University, but last year returned to coaching as an assistant at Columbus Academy. Jon is very proud of the number of players he has coached that have continued their careers at the collegiate level and have chosen to give back to lacrosse through coaching.
