Coach Garrett Hart brings a lifelong passion for lacrosse and a proven track record of leadership. He is currently the Head Coach at Kettering Fairmont High School and is excited to continue developing the game and its athletes with Resolute. A Dayton-area product, Coach Hart played his high school lacrosse at Oakwood High School and has been involved in the sport since the third grade. He played all four years of select high school lacrosse with Resolute and was part of many championship teams. His deep roots in the game have shaped both his playing style and coaching philosophy, emphasizing fundamentals, accountability, and a love for competition. Following high school, Coach Hart continued his lacrosse career at Furman University in South Carolina before transferring and completing his education at Miami University of Ohio. His collegiate experience broadened his understanding of the game and reinforced the importance of preparation, discipline, and team culture. Coach Hart also spent two years as an assistant coach at Archbishop Alter High School, where he played a key role in taking the program from 0 wins in 2021 to 12 and 5 and a playoff win in 2023. Now, Coach Hart is eager to bring his knowledge, energy, and commitment to athlete development to Resolute Dayton. He looks forward to helping players grow both on and off the field while contributing to a competitive, positive, and high-standard lacrosse environment.
