Andre Ortiz brings over 20 years of playing and coaching experience to Resolute Lacrosse. A 2003 graduate of Western Reserve Academy, Andre served as team captain, earned All-Ohio honors as a Long Stick Midfielder, and helped lead WRA to the 2002 Division II Ohio State Championship game. He continued his collegiate career at Butler University as a short-stick defensive midfielder, playing under current Ohio State Head Coach Nick Myers. In 2018, Andre co-founded Creek Lax and helped develop it into one of Ohio’s premier K–8 lacrosse programs. As defensive coordinator, he guided the 2023 Creek Lax 8th Grade team to a perfect 17–0 record and a Division I Middle School State Championship.
