Mackenzie Cremeans played as a goalkeeper on the varsity lacrosse team at DePauw University. Her most recent season was abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland. During this time, she was a member of the University of Edinburgh lacrosse team, and also played with Thistle Lacrosse, Capital Lacrosse, and most notably, with Lacrosse Scotland (an elite league in the UK). Additionally, she is a collegiate hammer and weight thrower on DePauw’s track and field team. In both events, Mackenzie has earned all-conference honors and holds all-time top ten records.
Currently, Mackenzie is studying at the University of Kansas where she is also assistant coach for the women’s lacrosse program. In May 2014, she graduated with degrees in Environmental Geoscience and English Literature and a minor in Music Performance. In her downtime, she enjoys fishing with her dad, hiking, reading classic novels, and volunteering at local schools.
